If you love eating authentic Chinese food in an opulent and high-class setting, then you need to go to Genting Palace. This brand-new restaurant is already one of the most talked-about spots on The Strip. Everything about the place is immaculate, posh, excellent, and gorgeous.
The restaurant has a moderate-sized menu, but order any dish, and it will melt in your mouth. While it's becoming well-known for its flavorful dim sum, many other great dishes include the Tangerine Beef Stirfry, Kung Pao Chicken, Peking Duck, Sea Bass, Cantonese Beef Hor Fun, Braised Tofu, and much more. And perhaps to top it off, try the Genting Alaska- a mouth-watering dessert.
The staff is very attentive, pleasant and go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your meal. Genting Palace is ideal for couples or a romantic dinner. The place is a little too posh for kids- the menu isn't very kid-friendly.
The level of service from the time you enter the restaurant to the time you depart is second to none. The atmosphere is serene and calm. The placement of the utensils is meticulously done, and nothing is out of place. There's a dress code, but it isn't too stringent. Avoid beachwear and athletic clothes.
As you might have expected, all this glamor doesn't come cheap. Expect to spend about $200 on lunch for two.
Genting Palace is located inside Resorts World Las Vegas.
